India’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the backbone of the economy, contributing nearly 29% to the country’s GDP and employing over 60% of the workforce. With their agility and innovation potential, they are key drivers of inclusive growth, intellectual property creation and infrastructure development.
In this context, the 4th Edition of the MSME & Startup Innovation Summit 2025, held on 22 May in Odisha, marked a milestone by laying the foundation for India’s first bilateral intercountry business collaboration at the state level. The event featured discussions on export opportunities, digital transformation, innovation, and B2B engagement. Shri Pratap Chandra Sarangi, Hon’ble MP and Former Union Minister, presented a special address on promoting indigenous businesses, and a Chief Guest Address by Smt. Pravati Parida, Hon’ble Deputy CM of Odisha, discussed building a supportive MSME ecosystem.
