The GTU-Intellectual Property Facilitation Centre (IPFC) and the DPIIT-IPR Chair (SPRIHA) jointly organised the World Intellectual Property Day 2025 celebration at the GTU Chandkheda Campus in Ahmedabad on April 28, 2025. Themed “IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP,” this event was a vibrant confluence of innovation and culture that brought together creative minds to explore the intersection of intellectual property and music. The celebration featured engaging discussions on the role of IP in today’s creative economy, enriched by a soulful performance from renowned classical and folk singer Shri Atul Purohit, along with insights from Dr. Nirav Jamnapara, Scientist G and Head – AIC-IPR, Plasmatech Innovation Foundation, as well as contributions from university dignitaries and domain experts.
Ms. Manya Jain from LexOrbis contributed as a speaker, sharing key perspectives on copyright and IP in creative industries. LexOrbis was also proudly represented by Ms. Amaya Singh, Mr. Narayan Patel, and Ms. Neha Ramani, who joined the celebration of innovation, expression, and IP awareness.
